Sony Ends PlayStation Stars After 3 Years – Last Dates to Earn & Redeem Points Revealed
Sony has announced the shutdown of its PlayStation Stars loyalty program after nearly three years. New members can no longer join, and leaving now means losing all rewards permanently.
Existing members can still earn points until July 23, 2025, and redeem them until November 3, 2026. Digital collectibles, like the Jim Ryan bobblehead, will remain available.
PS VP Grace Chen stated the company is “refocusing efforts” based on player feedback. No replacement program has been announced yet.
Launched in 2022, PS Stars rewarded players for store purchases and completing tasks. Recent changes, like shorter point expiration and removed perks, hinted at its eventual end.
