WWE’s Tribal Chief may bring Akuma to life as Street Fighter’s most dangerous villain in Legendary’s live-action adaptation.
WWE‘s Roman Reigns might be trading the squared circle for the silver screen. The former Undisputed Champion is reportedly in talks to play Akuma in Legendary Pictures’ new Street Fighter movie.
Akuma (Gouki in Japan) is one of Street Fighter’s most iconic villains. The demonic warrior would be perfect for Reigns’ commanding presence and physicality.
This comes after Reigns told Vanity Fair about his Hollywood ambitions. He plans to transition to acting within two years, carefully selecting roles like his idol Quentin Tarantino.
The Street Fighter project is still early in development. Reigns will likely return to WWE for SummerSlam before filming begins.
