Simu Liu, best known for his role as Shang-Chi, just made a major personal announcement. The 36-year-old actor revealed his engagement to longtime girlfriend Allison Hsu in a sweet social media post.
Liu, who will reprise his superhero role in Avengers: Doomsday (2026), shared the news with a playful nod to Shang-Chi. The couple has been together since 2022, with Hsu working in digital marketing for top artists like Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish.
Before filming the next Avengers movie, Liu starred in Barbie (2023) and Arthur the King (2024). He’s also set to return in Shang-Chi and the Wreckage of Time, the sequel to his 2021 breakout hit.
